Etsy Store

I posted back in September that I was thinking of opening an Etsy store. Well, I have finally got the ball rolling on that. Here is one of my first items that I will be listing. I'm hoping to have a few more ready to go in the next few days. Then I will announce my grand opening!!

This is a set of 10 baby girl thank you cards that will list for $12.00. I am taking a simple approach to some cards after doing some research to see what sells best. Hopefully, these will do well!

Cards For a Baby Shower Gift

Here are two designs that I made for a baby shower gift. A friend of mine is having twins, so I made her two sets of thank you cards (one boy and one girl). I also included a picture of how I wrapped them. I was very pleased with this gift, and I think she liked it too!

Thinking About An Etsy Store

I've been doing a lot of thinking about ways to make a little extra money on my hobby of card-making. I had a booth at a local boutique here in town, but the sales were down, and I was spending more money on rent than I was bringing in. So, I've been doing some research and am thinking of opening an Etsy store. I can list everything I have made up right now for about $8 for 4 months, which is a lot cheaper than the $60 a month I was paying for my booth rental. If I sell just a few cards, it will pay my listing fee. I will have to do some work to get pictures taken of my cards and get them loaded, but I'm hoping to get my store open in the next few weeks, so check back for my grand opening announcement!

Finally back to making cards!!

After a 4 month break from making cards, I am finally back to creating again! It is amazing how much I missed it, but just didn't have the energy to work on them for a while. Here are a couple of cards I have done in the last few days!

More Simple Cards

Here are three more cards I made a couple weekends ago. Thanks to my Mom letting me rummage through her paper for these great cards!! I should be putting about 25 new cards in my booth this week! Very exciting!! The words are stamps I got from my Close To My Heart workshop. I love these stamps and think they make terrific cards!

Simple Approach

Here are the cards I made last night. I have been taking a simple approach to the cards I have made recently. I have purchased some great paper and have really just wanted to show it off in my cards. All I am really doing is inking the edges for a distressed look and stamping words for a very simple card!
